For the charging / discharging FRINGS has always used extremely robust, acid-proof special pumps.
In this context,the charging pump ensures the reliable supply of the ACETATOR with mash or with process water. If the medium to be pumped contains a mixture of gas and liquid (gas proportion of up to 40%), then FRINGS successfully uses pumps with so-called inducers. The typical instance of use in this context is the discharge pump of the ACETATOR. During the discharge process, it directs the required part-quantity of ventilated raw vinegar out of the ACETATOR both reliably and at a proportionay high volume flow.
The alcohol pumps that we use for the SSHS-process are designed according to the European ATEX Norm.
