The high performance aerator is the centrepiece of the ACETATOR. The energy-efficient rotor-stator- turbine is designed so that it can suck fresh air into the ACETATOR via an air line directly from the environment without an additional compressor.

Within the ventilation turbine, the air is dispersed intensely with the liquid that is in the ACETATOR to create very fine gas bubbles. The rotor of the turbine pushes the air intake through the channels of the stator into the bottom area of the ACETATOR from where finely dispersed gas bubbles then ascend the tank’s liquid volume dispersing homogenously. During the course of the ascent, the oxygen that it contains is delivered into the liquid and used by the vinegar bacteria (acetobacter) for the conversion of alcohol into acetic acid and for its metabolism.

Note: without a sufficient supply of oxygen, acetobacter die straight away!

Once its production is complete, each of our aerators is tested thoroughly for several days and the corresponding data is recorded. The aerator is only delivered to its intended place of use once everything has been checked and it operates according to our complete satisfaction.
