小型錘式破碎機是由錘式破碎機箱體、轉(zhuǎn)子、錘頭、反擊襯板、篩板等組成。主要用于在水泥，化工，電力，冶金等工業(yè)部門破碎中等硬度的物料。

小型錘式破碎機由上殼體、下殼體、傳動部件、篩板部件等組成。

小型錘石制砂機適用于破碎抗壓強度180MPa以下的石灰石、煤矸石、石膏、頁巖等各類中硬脆性物料的粗、中、細碎作業(yè)。錘式破碎機是直接將粒度為600-1800毫米的物料破碎至25或25毫米以下的一段破碎用破碎機。

錘式碎石機適用于在水泥、化工、電力、冶金等工業(yè)部門破碎中等硬度的物料，如石灰石、爐渣、焦碳、煤等物料的中碎和細碎作業(yè)。單段錘式破碎機為重錘式破碎機，又叫復合錘式破碎機，主要用于石灰石的破碎作業(yè)，大型單段錘式破碎機可以將1米直徑的石灰?guī)r直接破碎到20mm左右，具有*的破碎能力。單段錘式破碎機在水泥行業(yè)具有大量的應用。

錘式破碎機主要是靠沖擊能來完成破碎物料作業(yè)的。錘式破碎機工作時，電機帶動轉(zhuǎn)子作高速旋轉(zhuǎn)，物料均勻的進入破碎機腔中，高速回轉(zhuǎn)的錘頭沖擊、剪切撕裂物料致物料被破碎，同時，物料自身的重力作用使物料從高速旋轉(zhuǎn)的錘頭沖向架體內(nèi)擋板、篩條，在轉(zhuǎn)子下部，設有篩板、粉碎物料中小于篩孔尺寸的粒級通過篩板排出，大于篩孔尺寸的物料阻留在篩板上繼續(xù)受到錘子的打擊和研磨，直到破碎至所需出料粒度最后通過篩板排出機外。
