Performance and advantages

●Bearing assembly — A large diameter shaft withshort overhang minimizes deflection and contrib-utes to long bearing life. Only four through boltsare required to hold the cartridge type housing inthe frame
●Liners — Easily replaceable liners are bolted, notglued, to the casing for positive attachment andease of maintenance. Hard metal liners are com-pletely interchangeable with pressure molded elas-tomers. Elastomer seal ings back all liner joints
●Casing — Casing halves of cast or ductile iron withexternal reinforcing ribs provide high operatingpressure capabilities and an extra measure of safety
●Impeller — Front and rear shrouds have pump outvanes that reduce recirculation and seal contamina-tion. Hard metal and molded elastomer impellersare completely interchangeable. Cast in impellerthreads require no inserts or nuts. High efficienyａnd high head designs are also available
●Throatbush — Wear is reduced and maintenancesimplified by the use of tapered mating faces toallow positive accurate alignment during assemblyａnd simple removal
●One-piece frame — A very robust one-piece framecradles the cartridge type bearing and shaft assem-bly. An external impeller adjustmen mechanismis provided below the bearing housing for easyadjustment of impeller clearance
