CMV - Control drive large enclosed actuator

CMV actuator is able to control final elements of modern power stations (dampers, hydraulic converters, etc.) using high power actuators to develop torque up to 20.000 Nm.
In this series, the housing provides a double function of protection and bearing frame. This system assures maximum stiffness without making use of additional supporting structures. Consequently, the whole volume inside the housing is available for the most rational installation of the actuator and the various accessories.
The possibility of inspection is assured by means of large removable panels. The actuator used is the cylinder type SC which is equipped with the life time lubrication system patented by STI and the cam positioner type SA/CL-1 available in sizes from ?" to ?" according to the requested response speed. On-off actuators are also available on request.
The CMV actuator may be supplied in eight different sizes in order to comply with a large range of torques.
The shaft equipped with an external lever has an operating angle of 70° and is fitted, at its two terminals, with a splined joint which allows the most convenient orientation of the control lever.
The manual control is provided with a handwheel.
