Keysight N4974A PRBS generator 40 Gb/s (TG1P4A) signal source is a completely independent code generator that can work at 40 Gb/s, 28 Gb/s or 25 Gb/s data rate. The product has a built-in 19.9 GHz oscillator that provides a half-rate clock source, enabling the generator to operate at a rate of 40 Gb/s. The order option replaces the correct oscillator frequency and supports the generator to operate at a rate of 28 or 25 Gb/s. In addition, the broadbａnd option provides an external half-rate clock, enabling the generator to operate at any data rate between 22 and 44 Gb/s.
