The 50 s pulsed medium current SMU is designed for fast pulse IV measurements. It can perform pulsed measurements as low as 50 s and has a pulse width 1/10 that of a traditional SMU. In addition, the instrument provides a wide source range (up to 30 V / 1A) and multiple functions, as well as voltage/current programmability. MCSMU is suitable not only for characterizing medium-power to high-power devices (such as SiC, GaN, and organic devices) made of new materials, but also for extended pulse IV measurement ranges.

The oscilloscope view provides timing for precision pulse IV measurements

The oscilloscope view shows the current and voltage data measured by the MCSMU module as it changes over time. The pulse measurement waveform is displayed in a separate window for the user to verify the measurement time. This function is very useful for verifying waveforms, optimizing timing parameters, and debugging pulse measurements. The oscilloscope view can display the timing of pulse waveform in the scan output step specified by the user. EasyEXPERT's tracker test mode provides this functionality.
