The self-acting flow controllers for flow and return mounting are primarily for use in district heating systems. The controllers close when set flow is exceeded.

Function of the controller: the diaphragm in the controller regulates the differential pressure across an integrated throttle valve according to the effect, the spring power has on the diaphragm. The manual setting of the throttle valve will determine the effective max. flow volume.
