Incrprates a phase cnsisting f a 2,3-di-O-ethyl-6-t-butyl silyl derivative f β-cycldextrin. This phase exhibits brad chiral selectivity, reslving aliphatic, lefenic, and aratic enantiers. This particular diethyl phase has been devised t verlap with the applicatins f bth the PM and PH series f cluns. T date, it has shwn siilar selectivities with shrter retentin ties and greater reslutin. It als has exhibited theral stability equivalent t the PM and is, therefre, the clun f chice when elutin teperature f the analyte exceeds 200°C. It is cnsidered t be ne f the essential cluns in a GC clun screening prtcl.
