呼吸閥是安裝石油化工固定在儲罐上的通氣裝置，以防止罐內(nèi)超壓或超真空使儲罐遭受損壞，起阻止外界火焰?zhèn)魅?，減少罐內(nèi)液體揮發(fā)損耗的作用。

根據(jù)國家《石油化工防火規(guī)范》GB50160的規(guī)定：“甲、乙類液體的固體拱頂罐，應(yīng)設(shè)阻火器和呼吸閥；為了滿足這一要求，我廠于86年始就與中石化北京設(shè)計共同研制開發(fā)了全天候防火呼吸閥完整體系。具有造型科學(xué)新穎、規(guī)格型號齊全、結(jié)構(gòu)緊湊、重量輕、通氣量大、泄露小等特點。產(chǎn)品結(jié)構(gòu)有呼吸型、單呼型、單吸型、異徑型、夾套型。各種結(jié)構(gòu)形式均可配備阻火器，也可配上所需的呼、吸端連接管，同時對油品、化工品食品不同介質(zhì)的儲罐采用不同材質(zhì)制造，滿足各類儲運系統(tǒng)上工藝要求。產(chǎn)品先后經(jīng)中國石油化工總公司、中國石化北京設(shè)計院，科學(xué)技術(shù)成果鑒定（92）中石化視鑒字01號、（95）BDI鑒字01號，并獲：得中國石化進步三等獎”。
