Whenever maximum output accompanied by minimum noise emission is needed, NoiselessPlus planetary gearheads from ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik have what it takes:

  • A gearmotor capable of standing up to extreme radial loads without loss of its low noise level.
  • These drives are designed for a total lifetime of 10,000 hours.
  • High reductions from 4.33 to 21 (single-stage) and from 26 to 231 (two-stage) achieved.

Performax® – a successful concept gets even better

Advanced in design, Performax® gearheads are impressive by virtue of outstanding power density, ultimate smoothness and unique reduction ranges. This opens up unlimited application options for modern drive requirements. Performax® is a shining example of outstanding drive solutions and of the results of our more than 50 years of experience working in the drive technology sector.
Principally, it is this gearhead’s maximum power output at minimum space requirement that makes it possible to use single-stage planetary gearheads where the market can normally only provide two-stage gearheads.

  • Single-stage gear reductions of up to 17:1 mean that single-stage gearheads can be used instead of two-stage competitor products.
  • This planetary gearhead features angle-serrated plastic gear wheels in the first gear plus spur toothing inside a cast zinc carrier with case-hardened steel planet gears in the secondgear.
  • Performax® gearmotors feature second-stage planet wheels with needle bearings as standard.
  • Naturally, all these drives, like all other gearmotors from ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik, feature a hardened, ground drive shaft. It is available in two different versions (feather key or face).
  • Motors for the standard modular system are chosen for their power outputs. Each gear reductionhas its own motor that best suits the optimum output of the gearmotor.

HRL radial load stage – defining performance limits new

The powerful HRL radial load specially for extra high radial loads is added to the innovative Performax® and Performax® Plus planetary gearheads by ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik. 
A special carrier enables bearing-mountings both sides and the planetary wheel needles to be precisely run. In turn, the carrier is properly supported by an efficient deep groove ball bearing. The resulting large bearing spacing is responsible for the significant increase in transferrable radial loads.

ZEITLAUF® Focus planetary gearheads – absolute precision

Whenever it is necessary to reduce motor speed with least possible backlash, Focus planetary gearheads from ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik come into their own:
 

  • Strict tolerances, an extremely torsion-resistant design plus the use of high-quality production processes mean that Focus planetary gearheads permit only minimum circumferential backlash.
  • In the first gears, plastic gearwheels with angled toothing engage with a slotted aluminium carrier.
  • The planetary gearhead’s planet gears are centred inside a planet gear carrier cage that passes on the transmitted torque to the second gear. This is equipped with a hardened, spur-toothed steel internal ring gear plus likewise hardened steel planet gears.
  • The planet gears of the second stage are mounted by means of needle bearings on the planetgear carrier, which, in turn, is mounted on the hardened, polished, double ball bearing-mounted output shaft.

ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik has developed a perfect and above all standardised solution for users of small server and stepper motors with NEMA geometry:

gearheads that are readymade for attaching to NEMA motors. The NEMA interface permits the widest possible range of gears and motors to be assembled quickly, precisely and exactly-centred.

These gearmotors are available for sizes NEMA 17, 23 and 34. Our Flatline, Compactline, Performaxand NoiselessPlus families each have one gearhead for all these sizes.

ZEITLAUF® Compactline spur gearheads – maximum flexibility and smoothness

The standard modular system from ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik includes Compactline spur gearheadranges 90, 91 and 92. When dimensioning gear widths, in order to minimise noise in the first stage in particular, due attention was paid to having the greatest possible gear width and therefore a good contact ratio between the motor shaft and the intermeshing gearwheel.

Combining this greater gear width with the standard use of plastic for the gearwheel material makes Compactline spur gearheads extremely smooth-running and powerful. Ground and hardened outputshafts and hardened gearwheels are standard in all Compactline gearheads. Die-cast zinc is used as carrier material.

Compactline 90 spur gearheads
Compactline 90 spur gearheads cover the widest reduction range of all Compactline spur gearheads. The reductions available in the standard modular system range from 11 : 1 to 537 : 1.

Compactline 91 spur gearheads
Compactline 91 spur gearheads differ from Compactline 90 versions in terms of the higher power that can be transferred. The reduction stages / the output speeds are somewhat different and therefore extend the range of uses to which Compactline gearheads can be put. We also provide a further applications interface with the 10 mm output shaft diameter.

Compactline 92 spur gearheads
High output torques distinguish Compactline 92 spur gearheads from the rest of the range. Thetorque obtainable from the shaft extends up to 15 Nm.

ZEITLAUF® Flatline spur gearheads – compact design


Flatline spur gearhead drive technology is the perfect answer whenever installation space is limited in length. Flatline spur gearheads include sizes 50, 78 and 85.

The first gears of all Flatline spur gearheads feature plastic gearwheels with angled toothing that provide optimum silencing. The following gears are all perfectly designed in terms of low noise generation and torque transmission. Ground and hardened output shafts and hardened gearwheels are standard in all Flatline spur gearheads. Die-cast zinc is used as carrier material.

Flatline 50 spur gearheads
Flatline 50 spur gearhead drive technology provides an additional plus in terms of length: the bearing shield of the built on shaded pole motor is integrated into the gearmotor carrier.

Flatline 78 spur gearheads
Flatline 78 spur gearheads cover the widest reduction range, i.e. from 39:1 (three-stage) to 2,136:1 (five-stage).

Flatline 85 spur gearheads
Flatline 85 spur gearheads are the power packs of the Flatline range. The torques obtainable extend all the way up to 30 Nm!

The technical details of the two sizes, EtaCrown® 75 and 52, prove this:

Efficiency
Angle gearheads EtaCrown® 75 and 52 have an efficiency factor greater than 85% in all reductionranges. The toothed wheels of a crown gearhead roll off one another and do not slide, as is the case with a worm gear, for example. The energy loss from rolling friction is significantly lower than with sliding friction, which is why with the crown gearhead a significantly greater share of the power supplied is available as output power.

Extreme smoothness
The perfectly optimised smoothness typical of gearmotors from ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik is also evident in both EtaCrown® ranges, of course. Optimum noise reduction is ensured by optimised rolling design and inligent selection of tooth materials.

Optimum safety
Angle gearheads featuring crown gear technology are not self-locking and thus enable the drive to be turned backwards without any damage. This is an important safety aspect for a wide range of applications.

Maximum radial loads
The double ball bearing-mounted drive shaft featured in this angle gearhead makes maximum radial loads possible, independent of drive speed and service lifetime.

Powerful gear reduction performance
The gear reduction ratios available as standard for EtaCrown® range from 4 : 1 through to 113 : 1. This applies to both the 75 series and EtaCrown® 52.

Long lifetime
Thanks to the high efficiency rate, optimised tooth grip, the use of steel for the teeth as well as the technological advantage provided by a rolling movement, a standard lifetime of 5,000 hours can be guaranteed.

Maximum flexibility
EtaCrown® is unbeatably compact thanks to space-saving geometry and symmetrical design. Its flexibility is extremely convincing, with different optional output shafts, five possible screw attachment positions, the possibility of attaching brake and encoder and thanks to possible combination with all standard AC, DC and EC motors. There are practically no limits to the uses to which this drive solution can be put.

For the manufacture of pipes from endless strips GH-Group offers inductive longitudinal
pipe seam welding machines. The patented GH-Transistor Generators TRANSITHERMIC
enable to manufacture welded pipes in highest quality with maximum operational security.
 

Due to their high efficiency, TRANSITHERMIC transistor generators reduce energy consumption
up to 40% in comparison with valve generators. The transistors have a nearly unlimited durability.


The welding bead is very uniform, because with the TRANSITHERMIC generators, the output
