System Solutions for Strip and Web Tension Measurement from Dr. Brandt GmbH

Aside from a well balanced standard program comprising modular components we have always placed special emphasis on providing system solutions based on practice-oriented basic designs tailored to the technical and economical application prerequisites our customers specify.

It is thus our philosophy and wish to not only offer standardized measuring systems but entire system solutions.

On the basis of a very careful measuring task analysis and detailed consultation with our customers we develop and manufacture application-related system solutions meeting the needs of almost all strip and web tension measuring objectives.

Our strip and web tension measuring systems are being successfully operated wordwide.

The sensor types we use are identified by their measuring axes and application purpose as explained below:

Measuring direction:		vertical		horizontal		vertical and horizontal
Strip tension		VBZ		HBZ		HVBZ
Web tension		PFN		PFP		-

For the use with shapemeter rolls we have developed types VBZ-P and HBZ-P.
Measurements to be performed under thermal influence (oven/furnace area) can be realized by making use of special frames.
